Yeah Steve, I know they do. So does the wal-marts I've checked
out. I'd rather take time to burn down some oak wood to coals
than use that stuff.

Have not seen any at HEB before, maybe have to call around to some
stores. Thanks for the tip about Tyler. I'll ping him if he doesn't
respond to this.

Hey BD, Jeff's Backyard is the only reliable source of retail lump in S.A. They
carry B&B in 10 & 20 lb. bags. Pricy but available.

Send me an email. I'm working on a substantial lump score in the next couple of
weeks.

Tyler

P.S. - You also might want to call up some restaurant supplies. My buddy in that
business used to get me 40 lb. bags for $13. Unfortunately he passed away a few
months ago.

P.S.S. - There are a couple of woods yards out on 16 toward Helotes who will
sell you a pickup load of ugly wood for $40.

The HEB on 1604 @ Blanco used to carry it but not anymore. They all claim they
will order anything for you at no premium.

Same here with the Cowboy.

Academy used to carry a very fine product (Cherokee?) but I haven't tried there
since I started using B&B.

BBQs ForWhores usually has a couple of brands of lump but well,,,,,,,,,,

It's about the same, give or take. I've seen it for as little as $9 and as much
as $12.

Y'all are close enough to Weimar to round up a truck & small trailer and get a
load.

We had a bit of snow in 1983 down here (Houston area)...the gulf breeze
keeps us warmed up a bit better than you.Didn't freeze this year or last. I
cooked on the pottery at least once a week all winter.

Hey Steve, we had the temp drop and some wind and rain.
Thundered and lightning for a while, but calmed down
after about 20 minutes. Then just rained kinda gentle
most of the evening. No hail at my house.
Stuff a bunch o' meat in the ECB to keep it from turning
over. 8}

That is not unusual for Calgary where we can go from 80 to 40 in an
hour - and some times back up to 80 an hour later when strange winds
off the Rockies touch down and then take off again on their way East.

We don't do hail very often.
