Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Couple of good places to try in the Twin Cities area of MN.

Baker's ribs in Eden Prairie - really good oak smoked meats. They have very
good ribs and not so good side items.

Ted Cook's in Minneapolis. They've been there for ever and in my experience
they may be over-rated? Been there a few times, one time the ribs are
really good the next time they taste like they just came from the oven.
Make sure to ask for the sauce on the side unless you want your food
swimming in sauce.
