in a pot, just as if you had the pot on the stove or in the oven. You might
try grilling some meat and veggies, tossing them in the pot with some hot
stock and dry rice, and letting the pot simmer for a while on the grill.

Certainly. Anything can be cooked or baked on a gas grill. Rice is best
barbecued. Stand the grains on end to allow maximum smoke penetration and
do not allow cooking tempertures to exceed 220 degrees. Use the fork test
to determine when they're done.

Yes you can bake rice on your gas grill. I would suggest getting
a cast-iron dutch oven, which costs about $20. This is a nice
heavy pot that can hold the heat.

Well thankee verra much, Graeme. I have turned over a new leaf now that I'm
a sixogenarian or whatever that word is. No more Mr. Niceguy. I decided to
drop the Paxil & skunk rub offa my pork butts (I think it gave me gas) in
favor of a nice Crystal meth, garlic powder and cayenne pepper mix and am
now ready to rumble.

And I sincerely hope that there is no pre-boiling involved.
