Default Posted pics of lump burn

It's 11AM and I started the burn to make lump around 9AM. The one
website said they had "outgassing" start after 35 minutes, I was into
the first hour and no outgassing. So I completely remove the lid to the
55 gallon drum and started dropping wood into and around the inner drum.

A roaring fire ensued and it was about 10 minutes into this period that
outgassing started. The outgassing appeared to mainly be coming out of
the top of the inner drums lids, which wasn't secured in any way.

(Used a 30 gallon trash can for the inner drum. Yeah I know I know,
watch out for zinc! I stayed low and out of the smoke. After this first
burn it should be burned off. Myy heaad huurrrts! Just Kidding!)

Picture named lump1 is before I removed lid, note: prior to taking lid
off, I peeked inside the inner drum and wood was all black. I kept its
lid on the entire time, had 6 3/8" holes drilled into the inner drum bottom.

Lump2 is when I stuffed all the fuel down and around the inner drum,
after removing the lid to the 55 gallon drum.

Lump3 is when it appeared the outgassing had stopped or at least
subsided and I placed the lid back on the 55 gal. drum, and stuff extra
wood underneath the inner drum.

Just letting it run down at this point and will see what happened late
this afternoon!

Peeked into inner drum around 4 pm and it was still a tad warm so I'll
wait for tomorrow to dump it to see how much big to small lump. But
initially I could see big chunks, at least on top.
