Bad news today..

I just found out that family friend and his girlfriend are missing in
Thailand. Their families knew they were vacationing in Thailand (they
had been a number of times before) but weren't sure exactly where they
were.

After not hearing from them after the Tsunami, they pulled up their
credit card records which showed the last entry of them checking into
a beachfront hotel in Phuket.

<sigh..>

All are holding out hope for the best, but the gnawing fear continues
to grow as time goes by without further word.
