Not in that big a rush either. I thought real hard about a K, they grill and BBQ and that's what I'm looking for, but they were more attractive to me when they were still just a few hours drive away. |

As an aside, I was speaking with the UK importer for kamado (3000 bucks for a K9!!) and asked him if they held any in stock. Nope, was his reply. They are ordered from the US once they receive FULL payment. That makes 400 bucks for a WSM seem like a better deal. He declined to comment on an ETA (I shudder to even hazard a guess) or on how many units (if any) had been sold in Europe. Graeme |

I'll post when I get a tracking number. > As an aside, I was speaking with the UK importer for kamado (3000 bucks for > a K9!!) and asked him if they held any in stock. Nope, was his reply. You really should ask him about a K5 vs a WSM since they both have about the same grill size. I'd bet it would be above $1200, though. > He declined to comment on an ETA (I shudder to even hazard a guess) He's smart enough to duck the question. > or on > how many units (if any) had been sold in Europe. I've read posts from a few European buyers on the Kamado forum. Matthew |

If you can get me dims and weight I can contact a friend with a Customs Broker Freight company who will give me a good rate and get a quote to London. Oh, origin point would be good to know too. But anyway, M3 ( loose cargo) Ocean rates are pretty cheap to England. Something could be picked up at the Port of Long Beach (Los Angeles), or any port really, by the shipping company, railed to the eastern seaboard and then on to London. |
