As good as this grill is I did want one that I could adjust the coal height.
however the wife really wanted to have a BBQ this 4th with her friends (
lucky me )
sooooo being I could be BBQless if I got what I wanted - I really wanted the
Charbroil cb490
and the wife okayed the extra money ( I have to make believe I need her
ok ).
but it did cook a really good steak ( needed about twice as much coal as my
smaller Webber.)
and did a good job with cooking sausage on indirect heat. BRB there is some
left over.
wow that is really good - nice spicy Italian BBQ sausage ( or should I
say grilled ).
I would really like to make my wife's party special and do a good job
cooking for the largest
amount I have ever cooked for - truth is I only grilled for my wife and
myself.
I am going to be over my head. I think I am going to need to be able to do
indirect and direct cooking
at the same time - I was unable to find an of the accessories for this grill
and wondering if
any of you had some ideas..
also for myself on the week ends I was wondering what kind of real BBQing I
can do on this thing.
I wouldn't mind smoking some ribs.
