Default jenn-Air

I just recently bought a Jenn-Air Natural Gas Grill Model No:
720-0151-NG from Lowes. My problem is the grill doesn't get hot
enough I have the burners on "High" and the flam looks really low. I
closed the lid and let it come to temp. However, after 45 minutes the
grill only got to 300 degrees. Has anyone experienced this problem
before or can anyone give me some advice on what I can do?

I'll bet the gas tank has had the overflow valve stick. I think it is
called the OPD Value. Here is a thread that seemed to have the same
problem...

You may need to relook at the size pipe you are using for the gas. When I
added a gas stove to my kitchen they calculated the distance and usage to
determine the size of pipe needed. You may not be getting enought gas to
the unit.

He indicated it's a NG unit, not LP. Probably a line size and/or
regulator issue.

My Summitt does the same thing if I light the grill too soon after turning
on the gas.

Turn the gas valve off. Wait ten minutes with the grill off. Turn the gas
back on. Wait ten minutes. Then light the grill. Let us know if it helps.
