This has worked for me. As Bill said, you have to decide what flavor
you want.

I also skip the marinade and add some Chimichurri sauce before serving.

Now there's a right-smart answer to someone asking for a marinade for
flank steak: Point him to a recipe called "Marinade for Flank Steak,"
but then suggest that he skip the marinade.

GENIUS!!!!11!!!!!!1

I also use that recipe, but unlike Dank here, who skips that whole
bothersome marinade business, I get the best results from this recipe
for marinated flank steak by skipping every other word in the recipe
for marinated flank steak. Call it a compromise between what the
original poster was asking for (that would be a recipe for marinated
flank steak) and what Dank has suggested:

MARINATED XXX STEAK

XXXX 1-1/2) XXXX steak
XXXX c. XXXX sauce
XXX tbls. XXXX
2 XXXX red XXXXX vinegar
tsp. XXXX powder
tsp. XXXX ginger
XXXX c. XXXX oil
XXXX green XXXX, XXXXX chopped

XXXX steaks XXXX score XXXX. Combine XXXX sauce, XXXX , vinegar, XXXX
powder XXXX ginger XXXX a XXXX and XXXX well. XXXX oil XXXX green
XXXX. Shake XXXX mix XXXX. Place XXXX in XXXX shallow XXXX, add XXXX
and XXXX, covered, XXXX 4 XXXX or XXXX. Preheat XXXX grill XXXX gas
XXXX using XXXX flame. XXXX steaks. XXXX on XXXX or XXXX pan. XXXX for
XXXX minutes XXXX side XXXX medium-rare. XXXX thinly XXXX the XXXX.

Enjoy!

Swilson,

And how is that a bad thing? Ever been to an Argentinean steakhouse?
Ever heard of chimichurri before you "Googled" it? Of course you would
never admit that.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, moron, and a dozen ways to
prepare flank steak or, a similar cut, skirt steak.

http://www.recipeland.com/recipe/10858/

Quit humping my leg (where have I heard THAT before?).

It's scary how much time you spent cutting and pasting that recipe and
editing my post. One for the Swilson file.

C'mon Dan......admit it and quit trying to pass the buck. You fuxored
yourself on that one.

"I use this marinade recipe, but I skip the marinade."?!?!? C'mon, WTF!

I'm not humping your leg or Kevin's, I'm merely stating the obvious.

Sometimes you can save more face by simply admitting you were wrong.

TFM,

Of course you are right. Kevin caught me in a huge lie.

However I should probably email his boss tonight so he can be fired
and/or censured for his BS. Can you send me that email address???

Happy holidays to you and Kili, too!

I've already emailed his boss and Kevvie is scheduled for execution
Monday morning at 10:37 a.m.

You just didn't know what buttons to push.

Joke all you want, boys. The fact remains that my boss said, out of
the clear blue and with no prompting from me, "What did you ever do to
**** off this Dan Krueger guy? He still e-mails me stuff you've posted
to Usenet."

That's creepy, and wrong on so many levels, but what's truly pathetic
is that Dank isn't man enough or mature enough to take responsibility
for his actions.

He's *still* getting my emails? Damn! Tell him I'm upset because he
hasn't had the courtesy to respond to any of them. Better yet, I'll
save you the trouble and just email him.

Time for a fresh troll, pro. You lost your bait months ago.

Seems that McDees drive thru was a little slow and was executed at
10:39AM. He still made the 10:30 cutoff for breakfast and the
McGutbuster if it matters!
