Hello folks. I have smoker that's simply a metal box with a chimney
(about 7' by 3' by 3') and it uses a gas burner for heat. I put smoldering wood chips on a metal table for smoke. The smoker works great but temperature control is problematic. I would like to have the temperature controlled by a thermostat, so I can spend less time monitoring it. I plan on building a new smoker that will be somewhat larger (maybe 1.5 feet taller), and install a thermostat controlled burner in it. I think I've found something that would work well, but I wanted to make sure that its a brand and type that you would recommend. Here is the link for the equipment: http://www.sausagemaker.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=304 |
