Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Default Brinkmann Southfork

Hi,

I just checked out a Brinkmann Southfork today at a local outdoors
shop.
It looks really heavy duty with the 1/4" steel and all welded
construction.
Seems to have a large firebox, looks long enough for regular split
firewood...

Does anyone out there have one, and have any opinions on it in use?
Also, not sure how to get this thing home at over 500lbs, and the
vertical chamber/chimney is welded on... I assume I'd need a big box
truck with a lift gate.

Here is the long ugly URL to it, not sure if this is really the
manufacturers site:

Thanks, Kenneth.
