Default Help on Gass Grills

Hi folks,

I am trying to decide on a new gas grill to keep my smokers company. Can anyone offer any advice on:

1. IR bottom burners?
2. IR rotisseries?

I was looking in the $1500 range which pretty much counts out the TEC (anyone have anything good or bad to say on those bad boyz?). There's a Jenn Air model that has both the IR bottom and rotisserie plus side burner. Are these things better at searing, etc., then the competition?

Thanks in advance.

MOst of what you'll find at the lower end $$$ <$1500 with those higher end features will be chinese porch ornaments. Lots of flash and nothing else. For $1500 get a weber summit the best one you can for the 1500 limit. You'll have a VERY high quality product not alot of flash but VERY functional and it will last and will be backed very well.
