Default bbq show? PBS?

I recently viewed a show on tv that I accidentally came across and
couldn't record it. It was along the same theme as the shows on pbs
about hot dogs, ice cream, roller coasters and diner cars, across
america but it was about bbq. It seemed very well produced and contained
info about many famous and still active q places in america.

I'm not even sure that it played on pbs.

I went on the PBS site and did a search on barbecue and came up with
nothing! I'd like to buy a dvd if available, anyone got a lead on it???

Certain PBS affliates will often play non-PBS material, so it's possible
a search on the national PBS site won't turn it up.

Sounds more like a Food Network production to me - maybe this one?

If not, you can seach by subject here -

http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/tv

and get 110 hits for "barbecue" (didn't do "bbq" or "barbeque"... <g>).

If it was the same narrator as for all of those, it was probably Rick
Sebak. His shows are produced by WQED in Pittsburgh. Might want to
give theri website a try.

Nope, not him, looks like it could be an interesting show though! The
show I saw was a single 1 hour show, not a weekly thing. Thanks anyway!
