I will be at a conference at M.I.T. (in Cambridge) next week, and will
probably have a couple hours free one evening. Can anyone suggest some good pubs in the area? Thanks. -- Bruce Weaver www.angelfire.com/wv/bwhomedir |

Cambridge Brewing Company, a few blocks from the Kendall T stop on the edge of the MIT campus. Or take the T (IIRC it involves a transfer, but it's easy) into Boston to the Boston Beer Works. -- Joel Plutchak "Things just fall apart." - Now They'll Sleep (Belly) |

I second the suggestion for the CBC and BBW. Also... In Inman Sq, look for the Cambridge location of Bukouski's. In Harvard Sq, look for John Harvard's Brewhouse in the basement of The Garage. CBC, BBW, and JH are all brewpubs. Bukouski's is a beer bar. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol Peter's Top 100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became An Evil Overlord, #57. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to visit any of those venues. But, I did try Harpoon's IPA and UFO Hefeweizen (on tap) at Logan while waiting for my return flight. Both were quite enjoyable. http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/ -- Bruce Weaver www.angelfire.com/wv/bwhomedir |
