Default St Louis, Mi Beer Pubs

Where the favorite beer pubs in ST Louis, Missouri?
Have found a few microbreweries in Soulard area but forgot the names
Would also like to find a few places with a good crowd that serve
imported German beer.

I know this is a Bud town but I won't drink that stuff again!

Thanks

St. Louis might be the only place I *would* drink A-B's Budweiser- free
at the brewery tour.

Just to be thorough, the postal abbreviation for Missouri
is MO, not Mi. (I ignored your message the first time through
because I know squat about Michigan pubs.)

>Do you knwo anywhere serving German import beers?

It's been awhile since I've been pubbing in St. Louis,
but there used to be a nice beer bar right near Washington
University a bit west and north of Forest Park. They had
a good rotating tap selection, often including German (and
Belgian) beers. {...google...} Cicero's, on Delmar.
Apparently still there and in business:

A neighborhood Pub I've enjoyed on my visits to SL is O'Connell's, in 'The
Hill'. Great sandwiches, some nice local brews and always a friendly crowd.
Can get a might smoky, though.

From my address book....
O'Connell's Pub - 4652 Shaw Ave., (314) 773-6600

Enjoy,
Jon
