Hi,
I have just tasted the most amazing beer. I'm wondering what others think of it. Ommegang Abbey Ale It's fantastic. I'm not much of a serious beer drinker though. I stick to Sam Adams pretty much -- an occasional Bass or Guiness. But wow, this stuff is amazing. Have any of you tasted it? Are there other beers like this? Have I just stumbled on a TYPE of beer that I like -- or is this really unique? Please, if there are other beers like this one (brewed I've found out in New York of all places -- even though they describe themselves as Belgian-style -- whatever that means) please let me know. A little expensive. $3.95 for 1 pint 9.4 fluid ounces. But the alcohol content might justify it 8.5%. I'd like to find a place that sells this or similar beer for less than $40 for a case of 12. Any suggestions. Ashley Adams |
