Fritz did it again. Another masterpiece... I remember when I first
tried this beer I was going through a divorce and I read the label
"...the earth with its seasons appears born anew" and I recall how
profoundly the notion resonated with me. And then I proceeded to get
stinking drunk off this great brew!

I am having my first bottle of the year (i bought a case).

I am tasting a lot less "spice" this year.. a bit more of a chocolaty
undertone. I wonder what other people think.

Also Im wondering if there are different malts used this year.

Cheers,

Chris

Less spice is good. I may even buy a some this year. I used
to look forward to it every year, but as I drank more different
beers I had less and less tolerance for overly spiced beers. The
last couple years I've skipped the OSA altogether.
