First, JFGI: http://www.xs4all.nl/~patto1ro/budapubs.htm

I've been to the Kaltenberg Sörözö (http://www.kaltenberg.hu)
and the beer and food were fine. Recommended. Otherwise,
don't set your expectations too high. Beer is mostly ordinary
lager, not surprising in a culture where wine was a mainstay
for centuries before the Austrians brought in their lagers.
Wines are good too, and they're inexpensive.
