Gollem.....hmmm.........
i was at Gollem yesterday afternoon and already even before 4pm i
started with a Westvleteren 8 [bottled]! followed closely by Einbecker Mai Ur Bock, Charles Quint, and St. Bernadus all from the tap. i wanted to have Westvleteren 12 before going home but was afraid after this one i wouldn't be able to get home on my own [it's a 2hr journey]. anyway, they really should let Westvleteren age a bit longer. they always sell it way too young, it's not creamy enough. first time trying Charles Quint, have had the mai ur-bock and st. bernadus in bottles before but the tap version kicks arse, surely. me off to Westvleteren in a couple of weeks......woohoo!!!!!!...... |

I'm assuming it's not available in the US though? Oh well, not great incentive to get myself to Belgium, but at least MORE incentive... :-) -- //*================================================= ===============++ || Russ Perry Jr 2175 S Tonne Dr #114 Arlington Hts IL 60005 || || 847-952-9729 [NEW!] VIDEOGAME COLLECTOR! || ++================================================ ================*// |
