"Good help" and any of the following words - pub, bar, restaurant, tavern, boozer, any establishment that involves waiting on customers - rarely go hand in hand. Servers in most parts of the country are notoriously inattentive, the notable exceptions being the servers in teh beer halls of Cologne and Dusseldorf. Not that this would make them any more motivated, mind you. -Steve |
