(I work at a volunteer organization formerly with all female employees). A bit of adaptation, and you could easily make a hook or strap for holding the keg and IIRC correctly, it comes apart with a coupla wrenches/sockets (or convert to butterfly nuts). A lot cheaper than that $au300 (that's about $220, right?) one and usuable as a "real" handtruck-(rent it to your neighbors!). I've seen other women "customers" arrive with the same truck, so I'm guessing they're common enough. Will get the brand name today if you're interested. |

My real concern is space. In NYC space = $$. The smaller it is the
better. A full size hand truck even made of the lightest material is just to big to store. This is for personal use not comercial use. |

This is for personal use not comercial use. You don't have a closet? It's a stand-up hand truck, not a car. Drape a sheet over it and back it into the side of a closet, then hang your coats up in front of it. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol "I've given up something that really mattered to me, the uniform and everything that goes with it." Get a dolly with a fold up platform and a bungee cord. This is a hell
of a lot smaller than your Sanyo draftmaster. |

Yeah, that's why I mentioned that it comes apart by removing 8 bolts (really only 4 if you only remove the "nose plate" as they call it) and could easily fit under a bed or in a closet or use it as a dressing dummy (I know I can't help but drape my coat over my handtruck in my garage most days). It's no bigger (and more utilitarian) than that Aussie unit. And it's only about $45 http://www.materialflow.com/Harper_L...Trucks.htm#H12 Otherwise, you could find a used steel unit and a friend with torch and welder... |
