Default where can i buy unmeltable chocolate?

I've heard recently that some Welsh students invented unmeltable
chocolate by adding glycerine to it, which dissolves in the mouth and
therefore the chocolate melts (but not before).

Does anyone know where I can buy some? I want to send some to my
girlfriend who lives in Africa!

Thanks,

Paul

Try Hershey's candy bars. But, oh, come to think about it, I think it might
take a while to melt in the mouth, too. Sorry. But it's worth an effort.

Camping supply store. :-)
Same place you get dehydrated foods for camping trips.

I've had some of it in the past and it's really not that bad!

Anyplace they sell food for hiking etc. they will have the melt
resistant chocolate bars...

Hope this helps?

It sounds apocryphal to me. How is it shaped in the factory?

Hershey's makes them (or at least used to)
They came in ration supplement packs along with the C-rations we ate in
Vietnam.
According to their site it is now called Desert Chocolate.

Oh, wow. I never knew any of this and I'm not sure I'm happy to have
learned it. The wiki links to a recipe at

http://www.2ndrangers.org/2nd_Rangers_D_Rations.htm

I need to go and eat some real chocolate to get the taste out of my
mind!
