Question about French chocolate

Hello all,
I've been reading here a lot and gained great knowledge in the past,
hope you guys can help.
I would like to tie an ocean mat for the fore deck of my dinghy to
prevent the bow mounted anchor from scratching the foredeck. I can find
in my knot books how to tie one that has 4 "loops" down each side.
However I am looking for instructions on how to lie a longer one in
order to get the right proportion for this application.

Can anybody help ?

Pat

Cut four layer of coco matting to shape of the fore deck. Use a palm
and needle to sew it together with the loops ( for the stanchions I
presume) on the side.
Then is you continue to use RFChocolate for this, spread Hersey's all
over it.
