Help! I have gone through 3 motors, and still don't have a working
coffee roaster from a hot air popper. I am electrically retarded, but I am still kicking ![]() I now have a no name hot air popper, and I have figured out how to power the Motor Heater and subsequently the motor, but I cannot get the main heater to work either on or off the switch. It does work when wired directly, so that is not the issue. I need an EXPLICIT set of directions on which set of wires go where. I have spent the last three weeks reading and rereading every website that I can find, scrutinizing pictures, and still no dice. Any help out there? |

The hot air popper is a toastmaster, and as far as I can tell, is
*exactly* the same as every other popcorn popper I have opened. It has a switch that used to control everything, and this is the switch I would like to control only the main heater. What I am looking for is a description of where the wire go as they enter ther popper. IE: One side of the 110VAC goes to a wire nut joining it to a wire leading to one side of the resistors/rectifiers on the motor. The other side of the 110VAC goes to........ This is the part I need the help. I know the other side of the 110 has to go through the motor heater on the way to the motor, but I am clueless other than that. Any help out there? |
