There were outrageously smoking deals all over the Internet when they came out with their Grand Prix II line and places were closing out their original Grands Prix. I cleaned house and happily bought the old blades. They'll never retire the Classic line. They've been all too happy to keep it around and uber-expensive while issuing all sorts of alternate stylings. Somewhere around here are a bunch of posts showing the taxonomy. Looks like the family tree needs a new twig. --Blair |

They better not discontinue the Classic line.. it makes up 60% of their business. I'd rather buy Henckels in the classic design than go to some wavy-handled cr@p. |

And keeping it fresh means they come up with ideas like this: http://www.cutleryandmore.com/details.asp?SKU=11851 If they rely on constantly changing handles for uniqueness we'll never see that stuff again. --Blair |
