Hi,
I need to find a new fridge freezer quickly in the UK
my old one is a zanusi it was quite good til the ice built up
and I damaged it trying to get the ice off, it has 2 compressors.
the main problem was the door seals disintegrated,
otherwise it lasted a very long time lol.

the one before that wasnt very good it only had one compressor
didnt freeze very well.

Im not sure what to look for these days,
i was thinking 2 compressor would be needed
to have good control over the freezer,
but the choice of ones that state 2 compressors
seem dispoportionalty more expensive than others.
should I make sure the freezer is 3 or 4 star ?

some claim good control with fast freeze yet only state 1 compressor
such as the hotpoint FF187.

some places dont list the facts very wel either,
such as not indicating it has 2 compresors
when the manafactures site says it does.

ive heard bad things about frost free that they can heat up
the food when they defrost and/or you have little control over it.

not exactly sure what they mean by frost free, is it same as auto defrost?

the size available is 600mm wide,
and at least 1.7M high

I tend to order a few weeks groceries at a time and eat the fridge
empty then the freezer then order some more lol.
im disabled and its hard to get out or do much.

If anyone has any recomndations as to what to look for,
and even better any make/model recomandation
would be very helpfull.
