Default Appliances questions for new kitchen

I am completely over hauling my kitchen. I am gutting and starting
from scratch which means I get to purchase all new appliances. I have
spent hours researching the internet, including consumerreports.org,
to help me with decisions regarding appliances. I have done plenty of
in store browsing as well. I am looking for high end appliances. I
am looking at brands such as Viking, Thermador, Sub Zero, Wolf,
Kenmore Pro, GE Monogram, etc. so this should give you an idea about
budget.

What are your opinions on Viking cooktops and wall ovens ?
Specifically I am looking at the 36" gas drop-in cooktop and the 30"
designer series oven.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with the Viking indoor grill?

In general What are your opinions regarding Kenmore Pro vs GE
Monogram? I think I like the stand alone Kenmore Pro Fridge and
Freezer combo that when put together using the trim kit looks like one
unit.

If you were willing to spend up to $1800 on a dishwasher, what would
you buy and why?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Nice, but over priced. Do some move investigating about their quality.

I'd buy the Kitchen Aid for $1200. We're very happy with it and can't see
what more money would buy as this is perfect.

Next to doing a good job of cleaning the dishes, I'd want a dishwasher
that is q-u-i-e-t! There are several sources on the net for such
info.

Miight take a look at KitchenAid's Architect II series for Ovens and Stoves.
Dual fuel is nice with gas for cooktop and electric for ovens. The
multipurpose, maybe even steam assisted, microwave has a place today. A
couple of microwaves can be handy. For Refrigerator/Freezer would consider
SubZero 20cuft for each (601R/601F) and sit them beside one another ...very
convenient. For dishwasher would look at Fisher&Paykel Dishdrawer, maybe
even multiples.

Look at Jade Range. Then Wolf.

The place I used wouldn't sell Viking, but had everything else:
Garland, Wolf, Traulsen, Sub Zero, AGA, Jade, Russell... No Viking. As
he explained it... he had a reputation to protect.

You need a big budget for big ventilation. That's gonna require a
multi-fan Vent-A-Hood and somebody who knows how to run 12" duct. You
need two ducts. The system requires much planning, a short run, and
therefore is almost always installed on an outside facing wall. Also
the vent hood needs to be installed lower than is pictured in your
kitchen brochures. Be wary of brochures. The marketing folks don't
cook, they decorate.

Meile. 3 rack.

You didn't mention induction. Look into it. Wolf has a decent counter
flush unit.

I have the Wolf 48" all gas range and love it. I would recommend Wolf
