No burnt hands, and no escaping pieces of saran wrap hitting the hot sides of the toaster. Bagels work fine in the 4-slicer. I've had it for a number of years now, and I still like it. We bought the smaller one for DH's dad. Since he doesn't make toast anymore, I think I'll see if he wants to send it my way again. I've made toast with his, and it works as well as the 4 slicer I have, but I can't remember if I've toasted bagels on the smaller one - probably not. Dee Dee |
