Hi,
I'm considering a new stand mixer. Looking at a fairly broad range of mixers, including Kitchen Aids (Artisan and Professional 600 series) all up to a Hobart N50 commercial grade stand mixer. Most manufacturers also make attachments to broaden the range of use. My question then is: Is the hub size standardized thus making it possible to attach different attachments from different manufacturers onto the machine you own? I've seen hub size #10 and #12 mentioned regarding Hobart mixers, but is this industry wide? Hope anyone has any knowledge on this. Regards, Luis |
