I did a quick search over at Repairclinic.com and found prices for dishracks
ranging from $65 to $140 for KA dishwasher. That is far less than a new
dishwasher. If that is more than you want to spend, you might look at a
plastic dishrack from a restaurant supply. That will most likely work as a
replacement for the lower rack and cost about $30. There are repair
materials for rusted racks. You can also brush on new coating and put tips
over rusted tines.
