Anybody out there used either the "Sink Setter" or "Sink
Undermounter" for mounting undermounted sinks? Sink Setter: SinkSetter.com Sink Undermounter: http://www.vanceind.com/products/sin...s/um/index.htm Rather than building a wood frame, these cool steel bracket gadgets supposedly allow you to easily level the sink via leveling screws. I've been thinking that some advantages of using these a o one can tighten the leveling screws to force a tight seal between the sink and the counter top. o ability to replace the sink in the future due to brackets being removable o ability to lower sink in the future to re-seal/caulk the sink in case sealant fails. Questions I have a o does cabinet frame need to be trimed so that mounting bracket does not stick out too much above (installing 3cm granite)? o For rectanglular sink (18x30), should I get 2 sets (4 brackets) or only one set? Vender recommends using 2 sets only for oval sinks. Thanks in advance -Pablo. |
