Default Long Silicone Gloves

I'm looking at getting a pair of these (11") but they are so
expensive. Anyone know of a good discounter who has them? And does
anyone have them and recommend them? Thx

Costco has a package of two with two silicon pot holders for $24.00 That's
the best price I've seen.

I use mine (the long ones) when I grill at a hot temp - they are worth
every cent.

Cloth gloves will burn the hell out of you if they are wet. Silicone is
impervious to liquids. I have pulled food out of my fryer using silicone
gloves. The can be cleaned by putting them through the dishwasher.

Disadvantage: Not very flexible. Don't count on being able to do
everything that cloth gloves can do due to better flaxibility.

If you are asking about the advantage of a glove over a mitt - I find gloves
more handy. With mitts you are only using your thumb and a solid piece of 4
thumbs; difficult to move any part ofyour fingers around the object; albeit
they do not feel like latex!

Oh... I did miss that they are actually gloves with fingers instead of the
oven "mitts". I've only seen the square silicone pot holders and I think
silicone oven mitts, but I didn't realize or notice the gloves. I'm going to
check that out. Thanks for clarifying that. Sis
