Try to get it out of the 'cleaning' mode. This is why it can stick shut.

thanks for your reply. unfortunately, the oven was no in cleaning mode. I checked that our after your replonse. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

the hinge seems to have expanded. when the oven cooled, the oven opened ok.

but the hinge seems to expand when the oven is set above 450 degrees.

I would like to find a way to enlarge the slots in the door through which the hinges pass.

ideas welcomed.
