Default Knife repair

Folks.....
Of all my Wusthof pieces, only one has the old style laminated wooden
handle. Over the years it has delaminated, and today I decided to inquire
about repair. Wusthof has no repair service at all. I'm wondering if
anyone knows of a good process to form a new handle myself, or of a shop or
jobber in northeastern Mass or southern New Hampshire who can do the job.
Thanks.

Buy a pair of handle scales and 3 cutlers rivets from Koval Knives
http://www.kovalknives.com/ or other knifemakers supply. Drill the
scales for the rivets, epoxy them in place, then cut and sand the handle
scales to fit the knife tang. It is really not a big deal. OR look for
a custom knifemaker and ask him/her to do it. As soon as they finish
their orders from the summer show season, they have time for other jobs.
