Default B & D Food Processor Question.

I recently purchased a Black & Decker FP1400 Food Processor. It works
good for now. I plan to mainly use it for shredding/pureeing.

However, there are several negative reviews for this product online:

Will this product last a few years for just shredding/pureeing ?
Please share your experience/comments.

Thanks.

I haven't used this particular model, but I have a small Black & Decker
"mini" food processor and it's been going strong for about 6 years. I
love it, it's well designed and very sturdy.

Default B & D Food Processor Question.

I had a B&D about 8 years ago ... I used it for shredding (home usage only)
cheese. I wore out the drive shaft (made it round rather than flattened on
two sides). I bought a KA which has done yeoman service... Were I to replace
it prolly go with a Robo Coupe (needs and usage have changed markedly)
