Default How to get wood flavor

Is there a way to get BBQ wood flavor or (Burger king type flavor from
your hamburger) from your grill on your range ? Wolf - grill.

By grill do you mean an outdoor grill? Is so, yes, you can add some wood
chunks to the burners to make some smoke.

If you mean a grill pan inside, no, nothing duplicates real wood. Liquid
smoke can be wretched stuff.

There was a recent article in Cooks Illustrated where they used tea,
Lapsang something or other, that is smoked and put it in the bottom of
the pan to impart a smoky flavor to ribs. Allegedly was effective. You
might look at the current issue.

Has anyone tried using smoked salt? I am aware of it, but I have never used
it.

Yes . Inside . how does Le Creuset Panini Press and Skillet Grill
compare to having a grill as part of your range. Looking a wolf and
gaggenau grill for modular range. Trying to get that flame broil / grill
taste in my indoor bbq.

Lapsang is a Chinese tea leaf that suppose to give you a smokey flavor.

Default How to get wood flavor

gaggenau has lava rocks as part of their indoor range grill. Could you
put wood chips safely on the lava rocks to get that smokey favor ?
