Default 48 CC measuring cup

I found a plastic measuring cup in my box of 'non-used' "stuff" that
measures 48 CC, which it says on the bottom. From what I see on
equivalents, it equals about 3-1/4 Tablespoons.

I'm wondering if this measurement has any use in anybody's cooking
repertoire?

Thanks,
Dee

Maybe my drinking repertoire. Those airline single serving miniature bottles
of liquor are usually 50 cc.

I doubt that it is anything "normal". Sometimes some dry mix (instant ice
tea or lemonade or somesuch) will come with a measuring scoop in an odd
size - "use 1 scoop for each quart of water".

Yes, I'll bet that's what is is -- something of that type that I've just
"hoarded" away.
Thanks.
