The commercial is very funny. Does anyone know if it actually works?

Ok, I know it's kinda dorky, but I have bought one. I haven't gotten it yet,
but I'll be glad to let you know if it works when I get it in. I hate peeling hard boiled eggs. I was always stuck with that job as a child and hated it and still do as an adult. It will be interesting to see..... Paula >The commercial is very funny. Does anyone know if it actually works? >-- >Jerry Bank >Trenton, New Jersey >Music is the language of the gods. |

Ok, my Eggstractor came in today. Boiled some eggs right up. I always bring
mine to boil, remove from heat, cover, let sit for 10 minutes then put in an ice bath for 10 minutes. AFTER I did that...I read the directions that came with the box, It said not to cook the egg over 8 minutes and be sure to put in cold water bath. Well I'd already overcooked mine according to them. It is tricky to get it to work. It does come with a "Trouble Shooting Guide". My eggs kept tearing up when trying to use it. But I do think that I'll get the hang of it and I do think it will work. They recommend large eggs and not fresh eggs. I usually keep eggs for at least a week before I boil them, but these were fresh. You get two when you order. I ordered one for me and the other for my youngest daughter's hope chest. She told me to give it to her older sister. I think the jury's still out for her. I'm glad I bought it, but it will be a lot of egg salad before I can get those pretty eggs out of it that they do on the commercials! PJ |

I won't spend $20 on the eggs-tractor, but I might spring for the Walter Drake version for her. :-) Thanks, Wayne! -- -Barb, <www.jamlady.eboard.com> updated 2-19-04 -- Dufus picture posted! |
