If KitchenAid is the #1 home mixer, who makes the #2 brand? Not
handhelds, but countertop mixers.

Most non-Americans wouldn't agree that Kitchen Aid is number 1. I'm a
Kenwood fan and wouldn't touch a KA with a barge pole. My number 2 is
Braun. Just personal preferences.

Kenwood for conventional mixers, Magimix for food processors, Bamix for
hand held liquidizers - the cook's magic wand! - and Waring for blenders.

I don't go for No 2 brands... ;P
