Default New countertop materials

I was just shown Durat (www.durat.com), a plastic composite that looks great
for creating sinks and countertops. Not sure about heat resistance (finding
out), but it can be molded to fit many different shapes. Also something
called Celadon, a stone composite...looks a little like terrazzo.
