I am planning a remodel. Have tentatively ordered GE Monogram bottom
freezer fridge, and a Dacor oven/cooktop. The salesman is pushing an extended warranty. Should I buy it? |

Thanks, Peter. I have always thought the same, and NEVER buy these,
but thought I would get some input specifically on these brands. Thanks again. |

After living with a side by side frig for most of life, we have a temporary
Samsung bottom freezer, top frig. Everything about it is excellent. I can't stand the bottom freezer design. You stoop over to get to the freezer, difficult for a geezer, and everything is lost in three drawers. When we redo our kitchen I'm going back to the old side by side. And some of them start from the day of purchase. The first time they called me about warranty was when the Microwave was about 3 months old. I told them to call me when the regular warranty ran out.
