The cheaper ones can burn out from any usage beyond a few slices. None do a decent job on meat, as the bottom of the meat doesn't get cut. And they all are a pain to clean. For my jerky I now have semi-frozen and cut my hand. They may be fine for cheese, I don't eat cheese so I've never tried it. Don <www.donwiss.com> (e-mail link at home page bottom). |
