Hi all
My mom and I recently started a company to help people improve their health, primarily through diet. My mom lost 77lbs and helped my dad lose 61 lbs and get off his medications (by doctor's orders) for Type II diabetes, high cholestoral, and high blood pressure (in 8 weeks!) (he was taking them for 6 years before that). When he started on them, we all thought there was no way he'd ever get off them, until we found out about just how much of a difference diet can make if you really learn about your food and understand why and how to make new choices. We want to share what we've learned with the world because we know there are more people out there who were just as unaware of what they didn't know as we were. The Lord has guided us to this information and it's our honor to share it with you. If you're interested in hearing more about what we've learned and what you can use to control your diabetes the HEALTHIEST way, here's two things you can do: 1) <b>Check out our website</b> at http://www.theseriouswayvegan.com and sign up for our mailing list so we can keep in touch. (We don't share your info, period.) 2) <b>Listen to my mom's informational teleseminar via this FREE promotional offer</b> at http://www.117selfimprovementgifts.com/ndex.php?id=550 (It's a limited time offer that helps us reach a greater audience through joint-ventures with other smaller businesses). To skip all the excess stuff and go straight to our teleseminar, here's what you do: a) scroll to the bottom of the page and create an account b) scroll to the bottom of the next page and click the link "<u>I want to Skip this offer. </u>I will pay more later if I want to attend the program." c) scroll to the bottom of the 3rd page and click the link <u>I want to Skip this offer and go to Members' area</u>. d) Under the Step 2 box, click the <u>Download Vol.I </u> link. On one of the first 3 pages you should see our teleseminar entitled <b>The Serious Way to Better Health</b>. The more people who click through to it, the higher our product will move on the list. We're currently #24 of some 400+ companies and the higher we go, the more visible it will be to others. While there, you're welcome to help yourself to any of the other free self-help products offered by other companies! Best of luck to you and God bless, Wendy |

It's not meant as spam, we genuinely want to share our story with people and help them out. We've already recieved emails from people who found this here and want to know more. My dad's a real person, who truly took control of his Type II diabetes in 8 weeks through a change in his diet. Here's a news story to start you out... http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/...n1837927.shtml Yes, we are in a sense "advertising" our company, but it's genuine effort to reach out to the people in our community and serve those who are interested. My dad spent many years thinking that drugs were the only solution and we know there's a lot of others who don't know about the alternatives they have. I hope you'll reconsider your assertion of this being spam. Thanks Wendy |

My dad's a real person, who truly took control of his >Type II diabetes in 8 weeks through a change in his diet. So did I. So did many others who read here over the years. How about doing the polite thing and reading the stories of others here who have done the same thing - and have been doing it a little longer - before jumping in with your methods to save us all. You may even find a lot of similar stories. Then he, and you, may learn something useful to add to his experience and you will discover what level to aim your evangelism at. Hi Wendy,
It is also unfortunate that your presentation was similar to many spamming posts. You say "Yes, we are in a sense 'advertising' our company", which actually makes your post a form of spam. This NG is *not* for advertising, however well-intentioned, it is for freely sharing recipes and experience. If you want to try again, head your post "ADVERTISEMENT" - make it absolutely clear that nobody could think it other than an ad. You'll still be largely ignored but at least you'll have been conspicuously honest! My sincere appologies for having offended anyone here - it clearly
hasn't been interpreted in the spirit it was written, by many. Best to all of you! |

Wendy, did you miss the very genuine invitation to hang around and exchange information? We could learn from each other... Nicky.
