Default Fortuitous day on the food front!

I thought our shopping trip started out badly because I forgot to pack our
reusable bags. I did have some in the van, just not for the stores we were
going to. Yeah, I know the stores don't care what you use. I decided to
get a few plastic bags because I do use them for some things and I didn't
have any.

Found what I needed at Target. Not a lot, but a few food items and a new
lunchbox for Angela. The zipper broke on her favorite one.

Coscto still didn't have the Carne Deshebrada. But they did have a couple
of packages of their brand of grilled chicken breasts for Angela's dinners
for the next couple of weeks.

On to Top Foods in the hopes that they had Benecol. They did! Expensive as
all git out but it was there and I bought two. Also salad bar to round out
our dinner of stuff we found in the freezer. But wait! What's that I saw?
Carne Deshebrada! Same brand as what I buy at Costco but in a much more
reasonable portion. And they also had the same brand of shredded chicken.
Angela will like this and we can eat it with the mini corn tortillas I
already have. They also had the Hormel chicken breasts in gravy that Angela
loves. And red bell peppers for a dollar each. Best of all, the reusable
tie dye bags I've had my eye on were down to 59 cents so I got three of
those. Angela was also able to sample a couple of salads. You should have
seen her face when she ate the Waldorf. She thought it was the potato
salad. Hehehe.

So aside from a quick trip to Safeway on Monday for our baby carrots (they
are a food group in this house) and a little bit more fresh produce, we are
set for food for a couple of weeks.
