On a last minute shopping trip I picked up a slab of beef back ribs for
holiday grilling. Searching the web for ideas I frequently came across "Black jack BBQ Sauce" in combination with beef ribs, so thought I'd give it a try. The sauce has simmered and cooled, and the ribs will be marinated in some of the sauce for about 8 hours, then slow grilled 'til tender. * Exported from MasterCook * Black Jack BBQ Sauce Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup strong coffee 1 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1 cup ketchup (I used chili sauce) 3 tablespoons chili powder 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups onions -- chopped finely 1/4 cup hot chili peppers -- minced (optional) 6 cloves garlic -- minced Combine ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes, then strain or puree in food processor or beldner and let cool.
