Last Tuesday was a sad day in Allentown. The fair was over on Monday, and
all items shown had to be picked up on Tuesday.

There is something sad about seeing the trash blow around and empty
fairgrounds with all the tents and canopies dropping down as they are packed
up for another year.

It was an overcast day as well, and all the smells and animal noises were
just pleasant (?) memories.

who due to surgery and the oven going kaput didn't enter edibles this year.
However, SBS won two blues (k'nex structure and coin collection) and SBD won
3rd and 4th places (3rd for a float in kids division and 4th against adults
in latch hook - not bad for a 10 year old.) FBS and FBD didn't enter
anything


PS: Yo, Ed....consensus is you're still doing a good job as
mayor.......(check city stats - Ed Pawlowski is mayor of Atown)

Ginny you probably shouldn't brag about the mayor of "Atown"! Folks might
think, well... not Allentown.

fyi...if you still want to go to a fair, the Elay County Fair will be going
on until the first week of October...Fly into Ontario, CA, and drive east on
the 10 interstate to Pomona and follow the signs!

The Arizona State Fair (in Pheonix) runs from October 13 thru November 5,
and is open Tuesday-Sunday.

True enough, you shouldn't specify MAYOR. Just say that Ed is the "Big Man
