Ran into a childhood buddy after several decades... and we have been
laughing hysterically... reminiscing over the nonsense we were engaged in as kids. One was a dessert I cooked up called "Frozen Science Fiction Movie" The concept involved taking a liter of cola... drinking 1/4 of it... and replacing the consumed portion with granulated sugar. The soda was frozen... broken up into chunks... and stirred into vanilla ice cream. My pancreas does a flip just thinking about it... I can't try that today... unless I had the doc install a stack of pancreas Sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun. I can only imagine the number of calories in that... I can't imagine why my parents actually allowed me to make that and then consume the entire thing... Perhaps the name of the concoction should be changed to "Crack on Ice" -- Your parents take care of you until you're 21. The government takes care of you after you're 65. You only have to take care of yourself for 44 years. http://dwacon.blogspot.com |
