Learn to read more than the main page of a blog, if you'd look down the
menu, you'd have seen..

Have you read? I don't know if you are aware of it, but the
ingredient list has changed. The blog owner has changed "chili
pepper" to "bell pepper". Nice to know he's paying attention.

At this point, I have to back-peddle myself. Turns out my original
reply was way off base. See, out here in the West/Southwest, "chili"
is typically a reference to the prepared Tex-Mex dish called "chili"
or "chili con carne" and chili powder is a pre-blended combination of
spices, much like Italian seasoning. Specific individual peppers are
typically spelled "chile", as in "serrano chile", "jalapeno chile",
etc. But, looking both words up reveals the word "chili", "chile",
and "chillie" are used interchangeably worldwide to describe most any
type of chile pepper. So, having been guilty of being an pompous ass,
I declare 'no mas' and divorce myself of the whole mess. You may now
continue to a) argue amongst yourselves, b) dog pile on me (which I
don't care cuz I got my six-pack of IPA, or c) ESADA!

Here in NM, it is all called chile, with the e. If you spell it with
an i here, they know you are from somewhere else.

Exactically! That, or they're referring to the stuff hundreds of
people make at big cook-offs while drinking beer and having a good
time and generally making complete fools of themselves.

Learn not to be an ethnocentric ass. Look at the name.

Just how trite can you get, sfb? You didn't notice the Indian name
when you made your ethnocentric and assinine comment? Betcha it never
registered.

What? You're the only one in this group allowed to be an obnoxious

Important is the recipe ..If u donot like the name i m not going to
change for u...i m not being ethnocentric but to be precise u r arguing
worthless.

...I HOPE U KNOW WATS A HOT DOG???
WELL IF U QUESTION WHERE'S THE DOG IN IT ....NO ONE HAS AN ANSWER.!!!!

Anyway!! Good day!!

This looks much more tasty...
http://swetasingh.blogspot.com/2006/...en-recipe.html

I love Indian food and am learning how to cook it.

I made some Biryani rice with veggies today - I added the spices after
the rice was cooked and I think next time I will add it while it is
cooking. It was good but not as good as it could have been.
