Bronnie, that is absolutely beautiful, as are the others! You are incredibly
talented! Have you had a gallery showing of your work? If you haven't, you
definitely should.

I know your neighbor will enjoy the gift. Hope you enjoyed the party!

You may have noticed, I am not Wayne

I just wanted to say your quilts are simply amazing! Do you do them as a hobby or for
a living?
I especially like the "non-traditional" ones. Very beautiful!

Thanks Kimberley (and others for your kind comments)!
Quilting is my other love after cooking. I've been quilting for 16
years as a hobby - we have a very active guild where I live - and a
very active, kind, rec.quilting group here on google. in '04 I
travelled to the US to a big quilting conference/show and met up with
alot of the girls there. There are opportunities each year here in Oz
to exhibit in several shows. I tend to only output one big project a
year. The 3 fractured quilts took 2 years each to make (all handwork).
I won my very first prize blue ribbon in June with the "Dancing Lights
in Indigo Night" - I was thrilled. This piece was mostly machine pieced
and quilted. This took 5 weeks of VERY intensive work, late nights, as
I had a deadline. Scary.
The little African wall hanging was completed in about 4-5 days on and
off. Just a fun project. The party was last night and it was great
fun, about 100 guests all dressed in African party dress - safari, cat
suits, witch dr., saraongs etc. a real hoot.

Well let me just say again, they are all amazing! You do very impressive work, and
it's easy to see the love in each piece.
