Penzeys has this recipe in the new catalog. I made beef stew yesterday
and saw this recipe today..rats! The dumplings replace the traditional potatoes and they sound really great with beef stew to me. Has anyone here made this recipe or mustard dumplings? The recipe is here. http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penze...sbeefstew.html |

I would add an additional mustard ingredient or two like yellow mustard and Dijon. I love the idea! |

I make the dumplings large, they don't replace the potatoes. The celery seed and mustard lent an interesting flavor - I would probably increase the mustard to 1.5 tsp next time. |

I never heard of mustard dumplings though. If you like dumplings, they would be worth the try. > |
